Locally grown produce, dairy and meat are available for purchase at the popular gathering place. Neighbors come together for better eating and the better good of the community. Stone Mountain Village is in walking distance of Willow Lake Apartments, so residents can get exercise while making healthier food choices.
Our Atlanta Market at 16 Forest Parkway, Forest Park, Georgia is a division of the Georgia Department of Agriculture is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is a major distribution center for fresh produce in the southeast. The welcome center is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and there is a restaurant on-site. Homegrown Georgia peaches and peanuts and juicy ripe watermelons are popular staples at the state operated farmers market. There is plenty for residents of Atlanta apartments and others to taste and see.
